LONDON CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW, MARCH 2002

The London Classic Motor Show at Alexandra Palace went off very well for the Club, and for the Thames Valley Centre who represented the national Club. Friday saw the coming together of the efforts of TVC members, who were re-creating the Healey stand at the 1952 Motor Show at Earls Court, where the the prototype Healey Hundred was transformed into the Austin-Healey 100.

Saturday saw a very busy morning, with lots of interest being shown in the 1953 '100' on the stand, kindly loaned by Eastern Centre member Neil Williams (who kept a watchful eye on his pride and joy for the entire show!).

Saturday afternoon saw a visit to the stand by Sir Stirling Moss, keen to share a few memories of the past in this our 50th anniversary year.
