The London Classic Motor Show is to be held at its regular venue, Alexandra Palace, over the weekend 9th/10th March. As usual, Thames Valley Centre will be representing the club.

Next year being the 50th Anniversary of the Austin Healey Hundred, we would like to mark the occasion publicly by making it the theme of the club’s stand at the London Classic Motor Show at Alexandra Palace on 9th /10th March. The plan is to recreate the Healey stand from the Earls Court Motor Show of October 1952 when the model was introduced and famously ‘adopted’ for manufacture by Austin. What we need are:

• The loan of photographs of the original Healey stand at Earls Court in 1952 – they are surprisingly few and far between in the various Healey books.
• The loan of a beautiful ice blue Austin Healey Hundred (an early car with chrome wires and left hand drive if possible!!) for the period of the show - Friday 8th March (set-up) to Sunday 10th March (evening).
