CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

Christmas comes but once a year - thank goodness! If, like me, you don't know where the time goes, once is quite often enough. However, it is a pleasure to have this opportunity to wish all Club members a very Happy Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year on behalf of the committee. We all hope you enjoy the holiday.

Now's the time to start thinking about all those New Year resolutions - the ones you made last year. If it makes you feel bad, you're probably in good company, so don't despair: dust them off for next year. My perennial resolution is to get my 100's engine back together and in the car, this time for the 50th Anniversary celebrations next summer. I thought I might install a webcam in the garage so that you can witness the sustained level of activity on-line, but my wife thinks my use of the term 'activity' probably contravenes the Trades Description Act, and cobwebcam might be nearer the mark. But I'll show her . . .

We hope that one of your resolutions for 2002 might be to come along to one of our events and meet some new friends. There's so much to be gained from talking to fellow club members, whether it be advice, experience or just plain bon-homie. Please give it a try.
