The 2005 quiz was won by Robert Ellis and Ian Featherstone. They received a bottle of bubbly each for their efforts. It was a very very close thing this year as remarkably at the end of the quiz there were two teams tying on 561/2, the other team being Greg Rudkin and Peter Cambridge. The tie-break was to name the actors in the Magnificent Seven - they both got 3 of them! A final tie-break was to say whether rheumatic fever was caused by a bacteria or a virus - the answer of bacteria won Ian and Robert the bubbly.
