For the 3 day trip to Cheddar and the Cotswolds in September, we had 15 people and 8 cars. It turned out to be a 350 mile round trip through beautiful countryside in absolutely glorious sunshine (though Google Maps said we could have done the trip in 250 miles!!). So 17 gallons of fuel, 4 gallons of beer and 1 gallon of wine.
We visited Cheddar Gorge, Cheltenham, Bourton-on-the-Water and the motor museum and Donnington brewery – the oldest brewery in the country using water-wheel power and a gravity feed process.
